Advantage America ripoff now targeting special need adults and elderly adults Winter Park Florida

Thanks to all the reports posted on this website the worst that happened to my sister was she had to close her checking account and contact individuals that made direct deposits and automatic withdrawls to her account. Kudos to all of you!

She too was contacted by an Indian speaking male informing her of her luck in receiving a $12,000.00 grant. She immediately told him she was not interested and hung up. No was not good enough though and he called back numerous times being more verbally abusive each time. Even though he was told no and she hung up on him, he was so forceful in his sales pitch that she gave in and told him her checking account number.

Here is the clincher, this guy knew from her reaction that she was not comprehending alot of what he was saying and continued pushing her until she was crying and yelling at him that she couldn't tell him her information and that she didn't want any grant. He told her over and over to chill out and his final words to her was the he 'knew she was sick'. What a creep!

Luckily she told her family and we were able to alert the bank. After receiving the little box in the mail, and checking online for info about this group we knew what to expect and changed her account. Even though the bank was notified, they allowed the $49.95 debt to be posted to the closed account. They had to eat that one I'm afraid!! Then, the 299.00 debt came to the bank and was turned away. Yea!

We contacted the Attorney General's office to make a report and was told just to get in line. The state of Florida and California are the worst places for filing fraud or ripoff reports. There are so many that set up shop in those states that the frustrated AG's office can do very little. Mr. Indian man would deny that he knew she was a special needs person and didn't understand, and technically, she gave him the information.

If you come up with any ideas to stop this group, let me know. I'm ready to rip them off by their toenails!!
