AFNI, INC. is trying to collect money for a false phone bill through Verizon Virginia Inc BLOOMINGTON Illinois

I am writing in reference to a letter that I received from Afni, Inc. about a so-called phone bill that was disconnected with Verizon Virginia. I have not lived in Virginia in over 14 years and never had phone service there. When I contacted Afni, they were extremely rude and insisted that the bill was mine. I asked them to provide me with proper documentation from Verizon and the rep got extremely upset and insisted that I could settle the matter with a lower payment if I acted today. I insisted that they send me documentation of the phone bill and a copy of the statute of limitations for Virginia. The rep got angry and disconnected the call. I in turn have filed a report with the Attorney Generals Office in IL. Afni, is a complete scam. I have also written them a letter and sent it to them warning them of the statute of limitations for the state of VA.

Hope everyone that gets a letter from them takes action!!!! They need to be stopped!!!!
