Sad to say, I m being ripped off by this law firm. Paid them $1200 for 2 houses as dp, once paid never heard from Sean Hawley, point person I first talked to. Reason given why he did not called me "Snow". February 10, they told me to send docs needed. Yes there were some correspondences back and forth. Faxed them the docs needed again, called them and email if theyre still missing more docs. Never emailed back and called me back after that despite leaving messages. I was told they did not receive some of the docs... Gave them journal reports to prove docs were already sent. Elevated matter to Jaclyn Pulcano. Trying to help but just added insult to injury... she asked for the $1000 that is due for the month of Feb. Im presently asking for the 750 credit because I would not retain them anymore... dont know what will happen yet.
Single Parent here trying to save property from being forclosed working 2 jobs 7 days a week, told to trust them but this is where Iam now. More Stress! Atty Alarcon, kindly look into this matter... so dissapointed. Hope you can help.

Loan Modification question

Why are you paying for a loan modification. If it is a Fannie mae or freddie mac loan your lender will look at possible loan modifications with NO type of service fee . Many lenders also have loan modification programs for non fannie or freddie loans again the process does not require any sort of fee.
You would be better off paying the deposit they are asking for on your mortgage instead of giving it to them.
Call your lender tomorrow and ask for the Loss Mitigation Department or ask them about the loan modification programs that are available.
