First off I never complain publicly about a company but there is a first for everything. Aldelo POS services is the biggest rip off I have seen. They charge you 1000s of dollars in software then provide no support for the software they develop, unless you want to pay even more $$$. There software is also generic and of poor quality. Here are a couple instances, if your computer updates involve any bit of hardware changes you license needs to be reset, but you can only do this four times a year then they will charge you. If you are busy and you have someone closing a bank or drawer get ready to wait for at least an hour. Not only does it add unproductive man hours but also hangs up a license already paid for. When you call for support, if you can find their number they have a number on their website that doesn’t even work, they will refuse to talk about anything but the fact you do not pay for the tech support. In my opinion I already paid for their support with purchase of their software and licenses. I personally did not purchase the software the bar owner did. I am just the guy who had to set it up and has to maintain it now. Their blatant lack of wanting to help the folks that buy their software is ridiculous. I am currently looking for a new software provider and would recommend everyone buying a Point of Sale service to stray far far away from Aldelo.
My advice to Aldelo is if you want to charge for support and for helping your customers give your generic/ Micros wannbe software away for free and then charge them for support. Either that or give support away for free and charge for the licenses but not both. You are destroying your reputation for GREED.

Buggy software, HORRIBLE company

Sales staff is joke. Typical old gen company sales tactics. They promise you the world and say yes our software does this and that. Then you find out they lied to make the sale. They don't know their product at all, just there to make sales.
Support is joke. 1 hr wait time for support if you're lucky. Called them twice, both times 1.5-2 hrs hold. NOT ACCEPTABLE I want to go home after work not hang around on hold for 2 hours after closing! This bad service cost $600 each year.
Contractors are a joke. My system installed by 'aldelo certified' installer. Very expensive, unresponsive to calls and no followup. Complained to Aldelo, they suggested another 'aldelo certified' contractor. Paid $300 to relocate a printer to opposite end of bar. $200 to show up + $100 for labor. Apparently just unplug, move it, and plug in again. Touchscreen fail after 2 months from 1st installer, won't respond to calls. 2nd installer wants 800$ to replace it.
Maybe they were a mom's garage startup, But 20 years later still operate like one.
Don't bother with this company. They are liars and crooks, so are their contractors. What is aldelo certified means? They certify and guarantee they can deceive you as good as the main company.
