Alden Short Deposit Scam! Had my deposit wrongfully withheld and was obscenely overcharged when they finally did get me the final account statement. They won't even correct their math mistake of an additional $300 in charges.

Upon further investigation they make you sue to get your deposit back, hoping that you won't bother. Together with former employees who will testify that they purposefully keep deposits and make up charges in order to avoid giving refunds, I am seeking former tenants that had their deposit withheld for a class action suit.

If you moved out in the past 4 years and:
1. Did not receive your Deposit Accounting within 30 days
2. Were overcharged or had made-up charges
3. Were sent to collections without any notification of debt
4. Had your tax refund withheld because of a "forgiven" debt
5. Had unreturned phone calls or messages after contacting them about your deposit
6. Did not receive a response when disputing charges
7. Had threats or abusive language used when requesting information about deposit

We will be collecting information and including former tenants in our suit.
