All County Towing Towed away my mothers car, damaged it and there may be items missing Fort Lauderdale Florida

On July 11, 2008 I parked in a lot across the street from Publix Supermarkets to buy a pack of cigarettes. - (you left your vehicle unattended in a private lot) When I left the store and approached my car there was a tower backing in to tow the car away.

I began yelling at him to stop and he was ignoring me. He quickly raised the car up and got out of the car. He was an extremely rude man and felt it was his job to insult me. (the trucks are diesel, more than likely he could not hear you)

I asked him to stop and he told me to give him $50 cash only to not tow the car away. I did not have $50 cash but did have my checkbook. He told me to enter Publix and cash the check and he would wait. I had no choice so I quickly entered Publix and they cashed my check in under two minutes. I quickly returned and the car was gone. (they are busy nd have lots of cars to tow, not wait for people)

There are witnesses that told me that he damaged the front of the car when towing it away. I also had a laptop in there that I suspect will be gone when I go to pick up the car. (was the car damaged and was your laptop gone???)

I previously went to take the car out and was not able to because it is registered to my mother. (they have to follow florida state statutes that require the vehicle be released to the REGISTERED owner only, not THEIR rules)

To all Broward residents beware of ALL COUNTY TOWING they are a bunch of crooks that practice PREDATOR TOWING. They also do not use reasonable care in transporting your vehicle. (you parked the car in a privte lot, had you not parked there, they would not be able to tow your mothers vehicle)

Either way I am not mad because thankfully I am an attorney and Monday they will be sued. In the end this will earn me money. I am just upset that this happens to people that cannot afford a legal defense. (how is your lawsuit coming?)
