American Airlines US Air/American Airlines employees not enforcing baggage size rules Nationwide

The employees do not enforce baggage size rules for passengers. One woman was allowed to board the plane with a backpack that was so large, it took enough room for two legal sized carry on bags placed wheels in first. Women with oversized pocketbooks and men with oversized suit bags take up all the space. Passengers are allowed to put carryons in the overhead bins without wheels being in first. The people who board first put their stuff in other bins not in first class.  The Zone 5 people exceed the space into zone 4.  Then the announcement is made that every one else can check their carryons for free.  Jet Blue enforces the rules on baggage size so this does not happen. I fly other airlines but sometimes my only choice is US Air/American. The flight attendants allow this to happen and take no pride in their jobs.
