american bankers insurance company Assurant "Damage not covered by your policy" is all they have to say miami Florida

On Sept. 28th 2010 I filed a claim with my mobile home insurance company American Bankers Insurance Company, AKA, Assurant Specialty Property.  My daughters wall had mold on it due to a leak from a storm that had moved my siding out away from the wall.

In their letter to me they told me it would take 2 weeks to get a decision.  It took them 2 weeks to send out a fly by night ins. adjuster Collins and Co. out of Mayfield KY.  The lady did not even know what she was doing when she took the pictures.  I had to point out the damage and make sure she took them.  She was very negative on mobile homes in her comments about them.

After the inspection I waited patiently for a call from American Bankers.  Never received one.  After 3 weeks I started leaving messages with my worthless claims adjuster Petula Aleman who will not return a call to save her life. I called on Oct 28th exactly one month from my original file date and demanded to talk to a manager.  I talked to "Loyd" who assured me he would send an email to Greg Bankson to get on this and would have me an answer by Tuesday Nov. 2nd.

On Wed. Nov. 3rd my worthless claims adjuster Petula Aleman actually started the conversation with "I called you yesterday and left you a message" That is how conniving she is to lie about leaving a message on my phone.  They can't even tell the truth about something as simple as that.

Anyway, she goes on to tell me that the water damage is only covered if it is storm related perhaps if the window was knocked out.  It seems to me that is all they have to say to not pay.

I know it is storm related because my siding was blown out from a storm.
