A young man (Antario Rotramel), approximately 19-22, walked up to me in my front yard. Announced that he was trying to earn points toward money, to start his own contracting business. He showed me a brochure with magazine subscriptions, and wanted me to pay him cash. I picked out a magazine, and wrote him a check. He also asked me for a drink of water. When he left, he was two houses away, and a police officer pulled over and stopped him. I later found out from the officer that Antario and some other young men who were also going door-to-door, where not registered with City Hall to sell. I got suspicious and cancelled my check. The Police are continuing to keep an eye out for these boys, as they are believed to be running a scam.
