American Hardwood Floors fraud Atlanta Georgia

I believe that I was defrauded through the Internet and US Mail. On October 8, 2004, I sent a personal check to American Hardwood Floors at the cited address. I ordered 45 boxes (900 square feet) of oak, prefinished flooring in Gunstock color. From all appearances I thought that I would receive the product within weeks. However, the company continually delayed delivery. Initially they indicated that the flooring was being mailed in Canada, later they said (by email) that it was being shipped from overseas. After several frustrating months they emailed me and said the flooring had cleared customs. On March 15, 2005, I received a message (email) from the hardwood company that reads:

Invoice #: 10484
Customer Name: Mr. Steve K
Flooring Information: Your flooring is estimated to be picked up from the mill for shipping by March 18th 2005 . We will email you the confirmation number from the trucking company by march 18th too. So that you can call them up directly.

Please confirm your shipping Address & Phone number:
Customer Response: It takes 7-10 working days to arrive to your job site from the date its picked up, i.e March 18th 2005. Will you be in town for your delivery? This is very important.

When I did not receive a confirmation number from the trucking company I sent status inquiries to American Hardwood Floors on March 23, 30, and 31, and April 6 and 13th. There was no response from the shipmgr. Within a few days the website was removed from the Internet.
