American Hardwood Floors Inc. RIPOFF We ordered hardwood floor back on 12/04 and have paid in FULL. We can not reach the company all addresses and phone numbers are not working. We have found out that mutiple customers are involved in this scam. Spokane Washington

Just for info - I had done some 'digging' previously and one registered address for AHF in Nevada was to a "Mailboxes Etc." place - not even a real address. That is the one you've listed in this report.
I did manage to get a 'real' address, but it was to a registered agent in Nevada (an attorney is my guess) handling legal correspondence for AHF (and many many other companies). The name of the agent was something like Acorn Business Services.
Essentially, in order to register a business in NV (and many other states), a company needs a legitimate address or the address of a registered agent in which legal documents may be served.

Where the "masterminds" of this company are is anyones guess. My guess is that the names Richard Miller et al could indeed be ficticious.

The reason I am still poking around this site is that my AHF transaction took years off my life. I couldn't sleep at night and thinking that the buggers ripped me off was all-consuming. It was 5 months of hell for me. The kicker is that I eventually did get my wood.

With their website shut down - that is not a good sign.

I hear what you have to say and many of us our in the same boat. Not sure how to contact one another about this but feel something must be done legally. To do so as individual parties is going to cost us the same amout or more than our orignal investment in the company but not if we do it as a group.

I don't know how we can get in touch but I am definitely with you. I am so upset about this whole ordeal and I just don't know what to do anymore!!! Please let me know how I can help!!! I purchased my flooring back in November 2004 and have not received anything yet. I can not locate the company either.
