American Hardwood Floors RIPOFF!!! Liars of extraordinary skill. Will ruin your home project schedule Internet

American Hardwood Floors is at the top of the heap when it comes to slimy companies.

Please do not be fooled by this company which promises to deliver the flooring within 3 weeks. They took 14 weeks to deliver my floors.

I posted a complaint another complaint site as well, and since that time (4 months ago), I have had to reply to 13 people who have emailed me in the same desperate state that I was in for way too long.

Once you send the money to the company, they hold it for as long as they possibly can before they deliver the flooring. This is a classic example of making money with your money while they do nothing.

Because your order will be a custom order, they require all the money up front in wire form or check form. This makes it impossible to get your money back. If you do demand your money back, they claim they will take 30 days to do it and hold 1/3 of it. An outrage.

They promise a service and they fail to deliver on the expected timeline. It ruined my home improvement project by 3 months. Everything slipped because "floors come first." Unfortunately, they came last when it came to American Hardwood Floors.

They are expert liars. They will hold you off with promises from their "shipping department" that your floors are coming soon, but they don't. There is no one to talk to once they have your money. Don't ask to speak to the president or the owner or anyone who will be accountable, because there is no one.

Scandalously, the National Wood Flooring Association is complicit in this behavior because they continue to allow their logo to be used on the American Hardwood Floors site. You would think that NWF would have some sort of professional code of conduct, but they don't. They know how bad they are and yet they continue to allow them to use their logo.

Pick a different company with which to work. The stress and the grief and the outrage are not worth the wait for the floors.

Call them repeatedly and let them know how bad they are.
