American Lending Group - Connie Smith - Craig Matthews - Katherine Young - Rebecca Woods - Peter Macklin DUPED Toronto Ontario

I was contacted by Rebecca Woods with a preapproval letter for a $10,000 personal loan from American Lending Group who lend money "based on your earnings, not your credit". She emailed me the 16 page loan agreement with information about the company and loan terms. I was told I needed to send $956 insurance blanket. I agreed to send $670 then a 2nd payment of $286. I did not get the money ...and have still not gotten the money after now sending them a 2nd payment of $300 and a 3rd payment of $200. The last $500 was considered "taxes" on money coming from Canada to the US. I have had problems contacting these people by phone and they have blocked my cell phone number...they do not return telephone calls and cannot transfer calls between t hem. I have not been able to locate them on the internet. I am out over $1000 which I feel horribly stupid about. I am not naive but I did need money for a desperate need. I would have been better off using the money I sent them for my urgent need than just losing it. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in recouping my money! I have spoken to Rebecca Woods, Peter Macklin, Katherine Young, Craig Matthews, and a Ms Johnson at American Lending.
