American Moving and Storage Duntara Moving and Storage Fraudulent Bait and Switch Fort Lauderdale Florida

I was assured by the sale department that these people were a moving company not a broker. They lied. I was given a quote of $2,196.43. They lied. They said we had over 5,000 pounds worth of stuff. They lied.

My brother is severly disabled and I was moving him from California to North Carolina so I could take care of him.

I paid a $600.00 deposit. I had to pay $2,500.00 when picked up. They had our stuff and I had no idea where it was at. I talked to the office and they said to call them on delivery and they would see what they could do. I got a threatening call from their driver and they wanted $2,094.00 in cash or post office money order. If we don't pay they keep my disabled brother's things.

These people put my brother's stuff in storage for a week while they tried to find someone to bring it out. The original truck they sent was an Enterprise rental van. Allegadly the stuff is being delivered by Delta. The company I hired claimed to have trucks that they move on. I reality they are nothing but a rip-off broker. I refused to pay cash or money order and told them a Cashiers Check from my bank was the only way they would be paid.
