American Poets Society scandolous rip-offs, thieves, bad business! Baltimore Maryland

On December 10, 2003, I wrote a poem for my brother's birthday! He is a fireman, and the title of my poem was "A Heros Job"
I
submitted the poem online to the American Poets Society. On January 5, 2004 I recieved a letter by US mail dated 12/25/03 from APS stating that it was the Authors proof and that My poem had been selected for publication in their upcoming book "A TREASURY OF AMERICAN POETRY" ISBN # 0-9743429-4-7.

I proofed my poem and mailed it back to the address I was given in my letter along with my order of"
1- anthology at $39.95 plus $7.80 S&H
3- additional books at $28.95 plus $7.80 S&H each.
and 2 personalized plaques at $38.95 each plus $7.80 S&H
I used my debit card for this transaction which made for a total of $251.80.

I wanted each of my family members to have a copy of the book. I have E-mailed the APS numerous times with no response. I would either like my money back or I would like to recieve the items that I have purchased. They got their money! I want my books!

I have written documents of this transaction along with my bank statement where the money was recieved. I will look into taking legal action. If you have been ripped by this company. Contact me! I would love to get a lawsuit on this company.
