American Vacations Rip off - scam -Dont book accommodations through them. You think its a deal but you end up paying triple the amount and no refunds. California

A fax came over to my workplace stating about these great hotel accommodations.  I called and booked a package that could be used over an 18month period.  They charged my credit card $700 for 4 adults.  I booked in april.  I finally called in and Wanted to book my accommodatios.  I wanted to book the turks and caicos package that was soldout, i then wanted to call the bahamas package was also soldout.  I wanted to book the jamaica pacakge and it was only for couples.  I then wanted to book the grand cayman package and was also soldout.  at this point i was furious. Rep told me to call in another 2weeks tomsee if something become available.  Mind you have to book 45daysmprior to your departure.  I call back and finally was able to confirm the accommodations.  I received an email a few days after I spoke with Michael James (who by the way is no longer with the company).  I see the email and it states 1room king bed.  I has confirmed with him 2rooms for 4guests.  I call him back since he is not respomding to my emails.  I wa on hold for approx 1hour.  Everytime i am on hole is for more than 45minutes. I finally get another email confirmation with the correct rooms and the correct amount of guest.  I go on my trip next wednesday.  Something told me to confirm the hotel.  I called the hotel directly and it was only booked for 1room only king bed.  no record of my 2nd room.  They told me they has cancelled the wrong hotel room.  Now they are soldout and I am trying to fix this problem before i get there next week.  Called over 10times and i keep getting disconnected on purpose, not getting transferred to a manager (still awaiting a call from the manager.  They charged my credit card an additional $1414.00. for one room because my other room does not exist.
