Americredit Financial Americredit harrassed, overcharged, reposessed me, ruined my credit and has come back 5 years later for my life Fort Worth, Texas

Americredit Financial harrassed me repeatedly for my payments since the inception of my loan back in 2001. I paid on the vehicle for three years and the balance never seemed to decrease with all the extra fees they added. When my house was burglarized and I was forced to shut down me business as a result, I fell behind. Even after making a hefty double payment, I was called incessently for more money I had no way of producing.

Finally, one day my son and I came home and a towtruck was lurking around the corner. They took the vehicle with all my son's belongings. He almost missed the return to his out of town school. The vehicle was immediatley auctioned off, and the amount owed increased by the same amount they sold it for.

Nearly five years have passed and I have just begun to reclaim my life after all the loss of 2004. An attorney has recently contacted me, stating that Americredit is coming back to refile against me and garnish my wages by 25% to recover an even more outrageous amount of money unless I come up with a settlement amount of $4100 in a matter of days. I would like to initiate a class suit or be included in one if it has begun, or otherwise find a way to get this horrible entity out of my life for good.
