Well, well, well.... I wonder what lies will they come up with now. After all the lay offs, after all of the smoke and mirrors, how are they going to explain the people that are leaving the company? The joke is on you Kim Mathis, everybody knows that a lot of the people that were let go, was let go because you simply didn't like them. I know you are sitting at home with your wine thinking, "what happened," the Senior Manager of Pharmacy left without any warning and you are stuck to prove how much you really know about the operations of the company, that's going to be the biggest reality check for the board! You have never been qualified to be the director of sales and they promoted you to be the VP of Sales and Customer service!!! I can't believe that they haven't figured out that you are the weakest link, so your days are numbered along with the company! I hate that upper management took a Great company and the vision that we had for this company and ruined it, it is no coming back from the damage that was done..the fraud, the lies, and the lack of knowlege that our leaders had. So Ms. Mathis, you will reap what you have sown, and it's not going to be so funny when you get the ax, because it's coming sooner than you think. And for everybody that's still at the company, look around, the popcorn is only being popped once a week, the office supplies are gone, and the Plants are gone, the writting is on the wall, so for all of you in upper management that have lied to us over and over again, I hope that you have a lot of restless nights when the lights go out at AmMed and your homes!!

Ammed Direct is the worse company I have ever worked for... in the interview process they made is seem so easy to get re-orders. They said the job description was calling patients for REMINDERS that they were ready for there supplies. Not at all did they tell me you had to sell these products. They also stated that the outbound calling would be about 50 to 60% of your day. Which that was also a lie. It was more like 95% of the day. They make the job seem so wonderful and easy and it is not. Missy the trainer dont really know how to train all she want to do is talk about her kids then have a nerve to give us a test on material that she has not covered. Travis is not a good manager at all he alway wants to inform you on polices after something has already accured knowing that you are a new employee. I believe that he is racist and that he is not mangerial material, he is a fake person and all he cares about is numbers.. He knows about people manipulating the system to send out orders and he does nothing about it because they are trying to meet their company goeal.. Gail she is not friendlly at all i walk past her in the hallway she puts her head down so she does not have to speak. She does not deservce to be in a managerial position. And last but not least Sharon, she will be so nice to you and act like she really cares about you.. But end the end she is a backstabber, she will go behind you back and tell on you and try to get you fired. She talks about people on her team and belittles them. Everytime you call her and ask for help she has an attitude like you are bothering her. Thee company is well unorganized and people are scared for their job. Its going around that Ammed had been sending out strips for free for several months. And from what i heard they were out of millions and are going to be starting cut backs again.. Working for that company is a joke and I am glad I no longer work there. I hated even pulling up in the parking lot because I know that they are scammers and they are teaching people to pressure people into getting their diabetes products. I hope there is enough complaints to shut them down because they are not an honest company!!!!! Screw AMMED!!!

Well, another good soldier has been walked out the door by one of the good ole boys and his slave.  Sure is funny how some people get fired and some people can quit, turn in their badges, walk and get a call from the director and be allowed to come back to work...just something to make you say HMMMMMM...... wonder what the EEOC would say about that..we may find out soon. The company made it past April 1st, but I really don't know how long it will last with all the underhanded good ole boy tactics that the company allows to go on.  Everyday something crazy happens in the Customer Service dept.  when will it end? When they close the doors, because the company is run by good ole boys and everybody in management are good ole boys. They got rid of all the wholesome people that has real morals and cared about their employees. Its a shame..management consist of a drunk, a sexual harrasser, a bigot, a director that doesnt speak to her employees unless they speak to her(and thinks thats the correct thing to do)...and while we are on her...can anybody tell me if she still rolls her eyes up in her head when questions she is ask questions in the meetings? Karma...Karma...Karma...She got rid of some very good employees...whats next??????

Wow, I don't even know where to start. Everything is true about this company. And they are continuing to do everything they are not supposed to do. And at the same time firing people for stupid reasons. But remember, God does not like ugly. Gail Banks deserves best actress award for the department meeting act she performed while Debra from HR was watching. She "ACTED" so well, like she is so concerned about everybody's questions. HAHA..What a joke! But guess what? She didn't roll her eyes not one time while Debra was in there. And since Dennis has been coming, she hasn't been doing that. Great acting Gail! And again, God don't like ugly! And she had a wreck today. She ran into a black man that just had back surgery and she probably did it on purpose. Travis the pervert came to her rescue. But Travis can't save her from being sued. The blacks in the company can't do anything about the way she rolls her eyes at them and treat them, but this man can. I hope she gets everything she deserves!!! And for the TL who thinks he's a supervisor, you can stop kissing BUTT because you will never be a Manager. And to BIG SHURM, clean your nose before you come to work!!!

To the single mom... I appreciate you have kids to support, however you are obviously very dense if you think that things posted on Ripoff Report alone would be enough to shut a company down. What happens to your kids when you are indicted on Medicare fraud for shredding documents, lying to elderly patients, and screwing taxpayers out of money by cheating MCR because you are so anxious to keep a job. I have bills to pay and food to keep on the table, but I still have my morals and working for AmMed has time and time again asked me to put those aside for my job. It's sad and even sadder than you just want to keep a job at any cost. What are you teaching your kids? It's ok to lie cheat and steal as long as upper management okays it and you get a paycheck (not even an impressive one) at the end of the day? I'm a hard worker, never had issues with any job previous to this one, and I have had some horrible ones, but I find it harder and harder to get my butt out of bed every morning and drag myself into that hellhole.

I just wanted to post this. I dont think the people who have posted things about AmMEd are being unreasonable. We are posting the truth. We all need jobs. I am not independently wealthy. I doubt many if any at all of the 85 people recently laid off were independently wealthy. You are nothing special. But you do need to understand that what AmMed does and has been doing is WRONG and ILLEGAL. And karma is a b***h. Even if it isnt soon they will get theirs. If you are there you might be left holding the blame for something the bigwigs did. I mean do you really think good ole' d**k Knight is gonna step up and take any blame? No, he is gonna pass that down to the underlings. I just hope I get out in time.

I understand needing to keep a job, but are you condoning that company stealing from yours and my social security? Are you condoning them screwing the elderly out of their hard earned and menial monthly incomes? To keep a job...that is just sad! I left with no job in sight because they sickened me... I am so glad they were turned into medicare! You may want to start looking for another job cause from what I hear they wont be there much longer. For the person wanting the # for the TBI agent that left the card on my door, check back tomorrow I left the card in my Rolodex at work but I will get it and post her name and number tomorrow.

I read the comments about AmMed and it sickens me. I've be with the company for almost a year now and before that I was laid off and out of work for almost 5 months before I found this job. So I knows what it feel like to be laid off from a job and understand why people gets upset. However what you people are saying is only hurting those of us still there and that needs our jobs. If you were one of the people laid off then you probably know how hard it is to find a job right now. So when you write bad stuff about the company and the people you are only hurting us.


I am a single mom trying to get work and paid so I can feed me and my two kids. If you keep posting bad stuff tryng to mess up the company and the people you are only hurting me my kids and your friends and they kids. I am sure that you still at AmMed and those laid off probably still have some friends there that also need their job.


So I am asking all of you for my sake, my kids sake and my friends and their kids sake please stop this foolishness. I know it is hard when you are laid off but no reason to try to make all of your friends also lose their jobs to.


I will pray for all of you that are gone and still at AmMed and hope we all end up doing well.

This post hit the nail on the head about Kim Mathis, she is the worst director in the country and it is showing. She is a drunk, miserable human being who is just riding this opportunity out until she gets fired and then she will land at the meneal job that she deserves. She probably wouldnt even be qualified as a sales rep at Simplex Healthcare, but Ammed has her as a director and VP of sales. What a joke. Maybe she can be a mechanic at Firestone and change oil with her grease monkey husband. Maybe she can get Gail Banks a job there too working the cash register. I cant wait for Ammed to shut down and go down in flames. That place is overdue, Tom Milam intentionally skated Medicare millions of dollars, double dipped with his wife marketing company, the dumbasses at tennessee health management with their heads up their asses couldnt figure out that this company was bleeding money while Tom conned them into forking over their millions so he could spend it so freely. Now that word is out that Tom is a criminal in a nice suit, Tennessee health Management dont know s**t about the actual business and they expect to be able to pull it out of the massive hole that its in? Yeah right. And for those that dont know, the pharmacy is probably about to lose it accreditation beacuse we dont have enough pharmacist and techs on staff to fill the amount of meds that AmMed fills. Its funny how people keep popping up at Ammed asking questions and doing investigations. If the TBI is doing an investigation on AmMed, I would like to give a statement. Please post a contact on here so that I can directly contact them and let them know what I know. And Kim, I cant wait to have you changing my oil with your husband. Just so you know, I want synthetic oil you b***h.

It's only a matter of time

The tone that the post from "Thomas" took leads me to believe it might be a post from someone in management posing as an employee to do some damage control. Either way whomever you are you are an idiot. Either a.) you don't actually work at AmMed or B.) your previous empoyment experience includes cleaning up monkey poop at the zoo, as that is the only job I can think of I would loathe more than AmMed.


Next, I know for a FACT the majority of people laid off were not "thugs", nor were they lazy, poor workers, or had bad attendance. Several managers in customer service were let go who had been with the company many years and who rarely missed time. I worked for one of the managers laid off and will say they were possibly the best manager I have ever had. Definitely the best manager I have ever had while in my years at AmMed. The manager accused of sexual harrassment who is still in customer care wouldn't know proper customer service unless it was carrying around a nice set of DDs and the other manager left at one point had to have Kim send another manager from another department over to supervise and "teach" her how to be a manager. I'm sorry aren't those skills which one should possess prior to being made management?  But this is the kind of thing you encounter when you have Gail Banks running things. She stood in a meeting a few days ago and commented "Oh, we have no issue firing people!" and LAUGHED. Little does she know her time is probably limited. Of course with all the stuff going on as of late I am sure that all of our time might be.


Many of the lower level employees let go were A+ as well so I don't know what this "Thomas" person is talking about. I am ashamed to work for this company. I am actively looking for new employment so I will throw that out there to avoid any "you can always quit" remarks this might get. Times are tough. As of now I am glad to have a paycheck however paltry because I have mortgage, however if I got a call mid day offering me a new job I would clock out to go to lunch and never come back. I have never been so miserable at a job. The atmosphere has definitely changed since when I started and not for the better.


I can believe that AmMed is being investigated by Medicaid, Medicare, etc. I know of many, many illegal things that have gone on and are stilll going on. I am not willing to go down with that ship just to have a job. Am Med doesnt give a flip about me or my family, why should I care about them?


The horror strories continue at AmMed. From being harrassed about bathroom breaks to being written up for talking to members of management I think they are grasping at straws to fire people. It's a sad situation they are in and the idiots in charge aren't smart enough to dig the company out. In the meantime my resume may be coming to an HR department near you.

I have one thing to say about this post and that is this... Richard Knight is either a FLAT OUT LIAR or he is completely in the dark.  Last week I came home to a card on my door from a special investigator with  the TBI, the next day I called and she set up a time to meet with me next week to ask me questions about AmMed and their involvement in any medicaid fraud. I called a few friends that are there now and some that left after me... they have been contacted too.  So as much as Richard wants to say that they are not under any kind of investigation, THEY ARE. They may not know it yet but I am sure that they soon will.

First off Tom or Thomas, there's no crying babies on here except for you crying about all the people that are no longer there to defend themselves.  You are so ill informed and narrow minded as you speak and lump together all that were laid off as a group of drug violators, late arrivers/attendance issue/dress code "thugs."  You live in a very small work world obviously limited to the confines of the pharmacy and are so out of touch with the full scope of AmMed.  The "Freeloaders" that were laid off you speak off included some very credible and reputable people who took AmMed from a very small company to where it is today. You obviously haven't been there long enough to know that and weren't one of those who had real dedication to that company and their customers.  Were there some laid off who probably should have been gone due to lack of integrity and work ethic?  Sure, but there's a whole bunch still there who definitely should have been released due to inabilities and other key factors.  Jim Smith hasn't bothered to find out what the REAL time of day is there and now won't be able to as he is still surrounded by the moron vp's who are so out of touch with reality.  He's made another realignment of "leadership" and there's still not to be any changes as all he did was shuffle and re-arrange. You see turds put in another wrapper are still turds regardless.

You need to understand there's an investment there that's taken a huge hit.  You've got a system that has little or no integrity and couple that now with the gash or cut into one of the life artery of the company that's bleed out and owes $4 to $5 million in back payments to providers not to mention the CMS violations to Medicare and state Medicaids, things like "plants being removed" just so doesn't really matter. Credit with vendor suppliers has been damaged and strained at best and now being questioned. No one is upper management is going to readily admit and own up to all of this; but why do you think Richard is "admitting" to voluntary auditing and there are constant stock outages and shuffling of product push priorities?? Other things such as write offs continue to pile up monthly, well into the six digit figures under the noses of Jim Smith his investor posses because of bad direction by idiots such as Gail, the slimy whinny parasite of customer service who hasn't ever and still doesn't know what the hell she is doing. She was allowed to bump out a couple of managers who were obviously a threat to her and who knew how to manage and what she was and wasn't doing but then they let her keep a couple: one who has no experience as a manager and another one who is a known sexual harassment pervert within the company and a step away from being a criminally known sex offender.  Good choices and good bunch there Jim, oh yeah you're all about it huh?  So Gail's literally been left to continue pumping and sucking the life blood of the company out, day after day when she should be demanding system abilities, boasting and feeding in re-order profits....She just doesn't have a clue and know how to.  Now with the recent restructure she's going around bad mouthing her bud Kim and other vps as well as Richard behind his back all the while thinking Dennis is her BFF and "has got her back." 

Man, what a mess. There are so many problems there and investors are just trying to (still) figure how they can stop the bleeding long enough to have a little better picture to try to present some assemblance of a package for sale and recoup whatever they can as quick as they can to get out from under all of this mess.  Don't kid yourself into thinking AmMed's a "long haul" company.  Tom Milam is Richard's best bud - they've got a history that goes way back and Tom's still in Richards ear regularly.  Customers are bailing on AmMed and any smart employee is also trying to do the same.  The only "cry babies" as you put it is your own narrow-minded self with such limited focus and will soon be those who have been so blinded by the "shell game" that's being played out under your very noses.

JUST WANTED TO RESPOND TO SOME OF THE CRYING LITTLE BABYS ON HERE THAT WERE LET GO.SO FAR THE ONES THAT I SEE THAT ARE NOT HERE ANY MORE ARE THE ONES WITH FAILED DRUG TESTS, HIPPA VIOLATIONS, SHOWING UP FOR WORK LATE ON A CONTINUOS BASIS, TALKING ON THERE CELL PHONES RATHER THAN WORKING, WEARING THERE HIP HOP THUGS PANTS THAT BELONG ON A 10 TH GRADER, BAD ATTENDANCE RECORDS, BEING LATE NOT ONCE OR TWICE BUT 12 OR 19 TIMES, WELL I COULD GO ON AND ON, BUT YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND ITLL ONLY FOLLOW YOU TO OTHER PLACES OF EMPLOYMENT, GROW UP AND GO GET ANOTHER JOB, THE ONES THAT ARE LEFT ARE THE HARD WORKERS WHO SHOW UP ON TIME, DO NOT FAIL DRUG TESTS, AND OH YEA WE WERE NOT THE ONES THAT WENT AND PLAYED GOLF WITH TOM MILAM, WOW YOU FORGOT TO SAY THAT, THATS HOW SOME PEOPLE KEPT THERE JOB. GLAD TO SEE MR.SMITH AND COMPANY TAKING OVER, HOPE THEY CAN STRAIGHTEN OUT OUR MAINTENANCE DEPT OR LACK THERE OF, STRAIGHTEN OUT DEX THAT CANT FIX OUR SHIPPING COMPUTERS IN PHARMACY. AND FOR THOSE NOT HERE THERE IS STILL PLANTS HERE, IT WAS A CUT BACK TO SAVE MONEY JUST LIKE THE FREE LOADERS THAT WERE LET GO. IF THEY CUT THE CLEAN UP CREW TO HALF DAYS DONT BE SURPRISED, THIS WOULD BE A MONEY SAVING IDEA ALSO, DONT KNOW KIM MATHIS BUT SHE IS STILL HERE AND SO ARE WE, THESE PEOPLE THAT ARE RUNNING THERE MOUTHS ON HERE AND CRYING, HAVE YOU TRYED TO FIND A JOB? GUESS THE OLD TOM MILAM LOOKIN OUT FOR YA CRAP IS OVER, GO SUCK UP TO SOME ELSE, AND LEAVE US ALONE WE ARE BUSY WORKING PUMPING OUT ORDERS AND GETTIN THINGS DONE THE RIGHT WAY, OH YEA WE DONT NEED THE LITTLE PERKS YOU CRY BABYS GOT TO GET OUR JOBS DONE.
