Ann at American Life Insurance or TorchMark Corporation Set up an interview without giving me proper information about what the company did. She did not inform me that it was an insurance sales job. Sharonvilles Ohio

I have my resume on Monster.com and I usually do not answer phone numbers I do not know but since I was expecting a call from a company I had personally applied at I decided to answer. Instead I got Ann who said she was calling from Torchmark Corporation. She spoke really quickly and then told me I could come in for an interview at 10 am next Monday. She told me to dress perfessionally and bring in a hard copy of my resume. I got the address and hung up thinking cool. I decided to try and look them up and find out more. Torchmark is not located in ohio so that threw my off. I then decided to look up the address and discovered that it is really an insurance company called American Life and then I was also lead to this website and a complaint filed by Shane who had this same issue. I plan on calling back and canceling the interview I do not appreciate being called and not giving more information about the job. It was like a hoax to get me to come in and trick me into taking the job. No thank you I spent way too much time, energy, and money getting myself a degree to just go off and work selling insurance when I could have done that 4 years ago. I got a supply chain management degree for a reason I want to do something in that field. Please get that throw your heads. Thank you.
