i am trying to save others from being as stupid as I.In this harsh economic climate trying to save money is important and after turning down numerous credit card services, these guys got me! I had one on the phone and another at my sales counter, all while trying to run a business day."Phoney"told me that he could save me AT LEAST $50 a month, that I would get free supplies and my card machine was warranted forever, and, even though I didn't want one,I really needed a debit PIN machine to save even more.I said okay, and Counter guy ran me through a 6 page application as fast as he could, highlighting where I needed to sign and verifying what Phone guy had said, but, failing to mention that I was signing a 3 year contract with a $500 early out fee.Something that was stated in (what I found out later)the"Merchant Processing Terms and Conditions" a form that I was neither shown or made aware of even though the little print above one of the several signature lines said I had read it and the agent had left me a copy. After one cycle, the savings was $2.00 on the credit card side, and the debit machine cost me $6 to process $18 and change. When I called Customer service, the lady laughed at me and told me there was nothing I could do because I signed. Is there really nothing I can do? Do outfits like this get to get away with this kind of practice? Sucks to be me I guess, but to others:BEWARE the Apex man.
