Good Morning,

I am writing this report, because I too had dealings with the company, Appliancesconnection.com. 1870 Bath Ave. Brooklyn, NY. I see they are still up to their shenanigans when I search for them online. I purchased a washer and dryer back in 2014, only to have the washer damaged with a dent. I used this internet company, because probably like the rest of you, I work hard for my money and from their prices online, thought, wow … this is a good place to buy the things I am particularly looking for. This is where YOU are making a huge mistake. Buyer Beware.. It is my opinion from my own experience and reading all the others posts that this company is selling scratch n dent stuff. Not all of your things will be damaged, but probably something out of your order will be. They make it practically impossible to return it. If you see any damage on your products, the driver will immediately call Appliancesconnection and report it. The person on the other end will tell you to sign the delivery receipt. For God Sakes don't!!! I don't care what they tell you. This will come back to haunt you after you go back online to their online forum to report the damage and turn in pictures. The person from Appliancesconnection that you thought was your friend and told you explicitly, it will be okay! Well … they are about to take a 180 degree turn. I have been reading a lot of other consumer complaints and they all seem to have a common factor. Get the product delivered, if any damage is discovered, get the signature, tell consumer it will be okay for your piece of mind, but after you sign, look out... Too many damaged things are being delivered to people all over the U.S. who do not know each other, yet all seem to have the same complaint against this company........ Buyer Beware.. If you want countless emails back and forth to them, their promise of installation that you paid for, yet when the delivery guy gets to your home, doesn’t do it or tells you it's more money, makes you pay the 20 percent restocking fee to send the stuff back even though it arrived damaged, go ahead.. Or they tell you stuff is in stock when it really isnt. Rip me off one time, shame on me, do it twice, well, I am a sucker.. No second time for me.. Thank you.. Ps.. I have reported them to the NY Attorney Generals Office and they handed it over to their Internet Fraud Unit, however, they still selling scratch n dent stuff online. They were no help either, but YOU can being helped by being an informed consumer..

In 2014, I searhed for them online and found a business right around the corner of where they have their address listed. I called the business. They were not even there at that location. I was told tht the talk was, they were going to move in to the store front soon, but think that is a scam as well. They are near that location in an apartment with probably a few people with laptops in front of them, taking internet orders then contacting all the different manufactures and seeing if they have any damaged stuff they can unload. That is where you come in. You buy it, thinking, you are communicating with some big company ou found online searching from your home and you are NOT! It's a scam..... I could go on, but feel sick that I was that stupid back in 2014......

AppliancesConnection.com

Morning,

I am asking ALL people who dealt with AppliancesConnection.com to be diligent and don't let them take advantage of you. We all need to contact the Attorney General. If they receive enough complaints, they will have to respond.

I was victim to them and from reading all these posts on RipOffReports.com, I see that they have not changed! Doesn't everyone find it awfully suspious that you are reading the same complaint that you probably had from people all over the USA? I personally feel they are selling scratch n dent stuff and make it imposible to return it.

They direct you to that email system where you will spend countless hours writing emails until you are so sick of it, you accept their offer. You are lucky enough to notice the damage and the driver calls the office right then and there, but then they promise to make it right if you keep it? All they want is for YOU to sign that delivery bill. Trust me!!!!!!!!!

After, you do that, your problems are just to begin! I don't care what they say to you, DON'T SIGN THAT BILL AND DONT ACCEPT THE DAMAGED PRODUCT... (((((PERIOD))))) Thank you.. Last time I knew, they didn't have a physical address in Brookyln. I had a neighbor of the address call me and tell me the scoop.

They were operating in a small warehouse or an apartment with laptops in front of them taking orders from the net from all over the world in that Bath Ave neighborhood.. Then I think ..

they started the search from the manufactures, if they have the scratch n dent stuff for sale to them at a discount. I never proved this, but think I am right.. It's only my opinion! I can't believe all the damaged stuff delivered is from the shipping Company. Happening to frequently for it to be just an accident!

Response to your stupid rebuttal

First off pal, the site never indicated that they were selling damaged merchandise no matter how cheap they sell the stuff for. If it is indeed sctatch n dent thigs, then tell the consumer. I will then make the decision to buy or move along. I think your response it actually very stupid. You say I am defaming someone online? Bull.................. Go to this site and read all the complaints on this company... Keep going past go pal. You must have a 2nd grade education.. When a customer buys something in a store or online, they assume its new unless the company states otherwise. YOU SHOW ME WHERE ON THEIR SITE IT SAYS NOT NEW! Thank you........... Maybe we all should check with you before we buy something???? Man... cause you know!!!!!!! lol :)

Price....

Buying appliances ONLINE!!!! what were you expecting for THAT PRICE!!!! Absolutly PERFECT products?? It AINT gonna happen!!! NOT at those prices. YOU CHOSE to go with a ONLINE PURCHASE instead of going to an ACTUAL retail store. That means YOU GET TO DEAL WITH IT!!!At least at a store there is a remedy. But online, not gonna happen. THEY think that YOU the consumer is not going to care about a few dings given the price YOU PAID!!! Look at the ACTUAL costs of non used appliance, then look at what YOU paid online. The difference may shock you. Firstly, YOU SHOPPED ONLINE!!!In this world of ours YOU took a chance and purchased  A PICTURE!!!!!!!Based on a picture of a item YOU wish to purchase. YOU didnt get to look it over BEFORE you purchased it. By the time it arrives its TOO LATE!!!Secondly, online shopping is GREAT for SMALL ITEMS!!! A book here, a pair of shoes there, a random gift for someone. But to make a MAJOR purchase like washer and dryers is just plain stupid!!!We get it, YOU are price aware. Still doesnt change the FACT that ordering a major item like a washer and dryer SIGHT UNSEEN is NOT WISE!!!!Thirdly, YOU are whining about THEM for the choice YOU MADE!!!! There are plenty of used appliance shops out there. Ones that are NOT shady and offer an excellent warranty. YOUR LAZINESS and YOUR CHEAPNESS is what has gotten YOU into this situation. YOU CANT cry about it when it all doesnt go your way. That is the COST of the CHOICES you made. Im pretty sure if YOU got off that high horse and stopped acting so self entitled you would see that for what YOU PAID, YOU GOT WHAT YOU PAID FOR!!!Its NOT a scam to facilitate a purchase and that is what they are doing. YOU ASSUMED!!! When YOU ASSUME YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!More then 50% of the sites you see online is someone running a business FROM THIER HOME!!!!! You CANT be surprised at this. Just because someone doesnt have a PHYSICAL store front doesnt make them a "scam" or "bad". THEY have a VIRTUAL store front that YOU walked into willingly. Take some responsibility for YOUR CHOICES AND ACTIONS!!!! You know instead of DEFAMING people online.
