Ashford University pushed me to enroll back in class saying that if I didn't return I would owe over 2,000 dollars once I returned they dropped me from the class and left me with a balance of 3,400 dollars. I don't understand why is my balance so high when I took out a loan to pay for school. I am not working at the time and do not have the money to pay it back and they have a hold on my unofficial transcripts can someone help me to get information on how to sue them or any kind of legal help?

The California Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against Ashford University. I encourage you to contanct the OAG and tell them what has happened and to spread the information about this school and lawsuit. Help other students that have been deceived.

Asford university Over charged me for classes. Charged me for room and board and I live in Alabama. As if I was staying on campus which is a flat out lie. And when I said I wanted to withdraw a week into my second term they told me I would owe the school money which is a lie as well. San Diego California

Ashford University I attended the University for a year with in that a year I didn't pass two of my classes which ashford said that my student loans and pell grant did not pay for . Ashford University Applied to Ashford University during a time when the introductory class was free. When my financial aid was used it was a large sum of money for an online course. I received $12 from my financial aid and after repeatedly asked to be dropped from the courses, they finally stopped taking my financial aid.
