Asford university Over charged me for classes. Charged me for room and board and I live in Alabama. As if I was staying on campus which is a flat out lie. And when I said I wanted to withdraw a week into my second term they told me I would owe the school money which is a lie as well. San Diego California

When I first started everything was fine until I checked my financial aid award letter. In the letter it shows that I would be charged for room and board. When I contacted them they kept telling me don't worry about it, that's just how they have to do their paperwork. So I mind you I had a little money left over for disbursement which I didn't receive until 2 months after starting my classes. So I checked my financial aid again and it still showed room and board. I live in the state of Alabama why am I getting charged for room and board. So I didn't pass one of my classes and they write me and tell me I won't receive another disbursement check until February what does me not passing a class have to do with me having to wait 4 months before I recieve a disbursement check. The only way you can withdraw from any class is by sending a fax, which my wife just finished her degree with another college and she could drop and add classes right from her portal. This seems a little out right fishy to me. I can't take what ever class I want they place me in whatever class they want me to be in. And I mind you I made a 65 in the class they told me I failed how is that not a passing grade. My wife made two 65 grades at her school and she passed those classes. This is down right wrong and stressful and a straight rip off.
