ATK NORTH AMERICA warranty fraud rip-off specialists authorized warranty repairs & haven't paid tying up my car for 15 months Santa Ana california

Purchased a rebuilt engine for our 1987 ford broncoII from ATK. I had it professionaly installed and had the oil & filter changed and the valves adj. at 600 miles as per warranty. At 2000 miles the engine blew a head gasket & the cylinder head was diagnosed as improperly torqued due to being machined incorrectly at the factory!

ATK gave me a claim # 153264 and the warranty (they repeatedly advertise it as "THE BEST JUST GOT BETTER)was for 3 years & UNLIMITED mileage....This happened in November,2001! Since then it has been one big nightmare....ATK doesn't return my phone calls or my e-mails....They chose to spoke directly with the garage that installed the engine & not much with them, just a lot of stalling.

I contacted the Attorney General of Penna. who got one letter of response from ATK with a Mr.GREG HALL dated Feb.14,2002.He assured the Pa.Attorney Gen. that it was a communication problem & he was to have someone from ATK contact me....instead someone from ATK ordered the repair garage to send the cylinder head out to be remachined and then to install on engine. the garage said they told ATK what the costs would be and were authorized to complete the repairs...this was late Feb.2003!

ATK has not paid nor have they responded to any other letters from the ATTORNEY GENERALS of Pa. or California...They also blow off the repair garage, me & the Better Business Bureau!!!I still do not have my car & it has been 15 months?? ATK SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

This is a terrible way to do business & since I'm living in Pa. & not in California they feel that they can just blow me and the Pa Attorney General off...I feel I did everything to settle this claim & they are just an "RIPOFF OUTFIT"that is FRAUDULENTLY advertising a WARRANTY that they do not & never did intend to honor!

A REALLY GREAT WARRANTY AS LONG AS YOU NEVER HAVE TO USE

IT?? THEY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS....AS THEY SURE

FEEL THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW!!!!
