This is the worst example of a mortage company. They use tactics to scare you into paying ridiculous amounts and treat you like a subhumanbeing. Of course my account was sold to them by National City Mortgage and from reading other accounts it seems to me we need to find a way to have National City investigated as well as Aurora.

They took over a $40,0000. mortgage and I still owe well over $40,000 after 3 years. I wish I knew where to go and how to put these people under some serious investigation. The payments I have to pay are making it virtually impossible for me to pay utilities or get food for my 2 children and still I get foreclosure notices from them even though the payments are made. If there are others out there please help. Let me know if you know what we can do or where we can go.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

AUTHOR: Sharon - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, September 10, 2004

If you are making timely payments on your mortgage, threatening foreclosure is simply unacceptable and probably against the law. Please check your State's regulations (look for a Div. of Consumer Affairs or something similar) and/or try to get advice from an attorney well-versed in these practices. Sounds like they are using scare tactics on you.

If you are making full and on-time payments, you shouldn't have to put up with this. Again, as a victim, I want to let others know that consumers do have rights and that we are not here for lenders to steamroll and make our lives miserable.

Good luck!
