 initiated  a  warranty   in  October 2010   with    auto service warranty inc.     I  went to check if they were    deducting  a  monthly fee  from  my bank    and  found  that  the  telephone   number  just  rang   busy. I went to their website to get  another  number   and  the   person on the line  said    "  we bought  their name, not their  customers  and they are out of  business"  I  asked  where they could  be found  and  was informed " you   just lost all your  money"   After calling  the  FTC  the attorney general in OHIO  and the BBB  and consumer affairs,  the  bottom line  seems   to be ,   I just  lost all my money, and have  no   coverage on my car  and  I dont  have  any more  money to purchase another warranty. Are there  any body else  whose  experienced  the same  from that company?  would  you like to go after them   lmk.

" no   coverage on my car  and  I dont  have  any more  money to purchase another warranty"


   Please use the "advanced search" feature on this site and browse the "auto warranties" category.   These third party warranties are rarely worth the paper they're printed on.   Even if the company miraculously stays in business for the term of your warranty, chances are good that they'll use loopholes in the contract to avoid paying for anything major.  You're much better off just saving the money you would have paid and socking it away for future repairs.

Auto Service Warranty Inc. provided a zero percent financing program to cover my vehicle for either 5 years or 100,000 miles covering any problems except electrical. I paid $299 up front and two monthly payments of $100 before Parma Heights , Ohio
