As a employee I have witnessed ripoff schemes such as billing customers for work not performed, services involved won't have replacement parts so it's difficult to prove. For example, fuel injection flushes-$170,front end alignments-$100 to $300,clean and adjust brakes-$50,refinishing brake rotors when they are being replaced-$90.Refinishing brake drums when they are being replaced-$90.These are just a few examples of the daily practices at automotive diagnostic centers, they have three stores that are run the same way.
Upon entering the service write up area you see a overload of certification plaques, most of them are false. This is a high turn over shop due to poor employee treatment and they copy certifications to display long after the employee has left for a better job. There uniforms also have a overkill of certification patches, most of them are false.
When a skilled mechanic is hired they notify there laundry service of certification patches needed, then have them sewn to all mechanic's uniforms.Yes,you can have a person who hasn't a single certification working on your car displaying a master certified auto technician patch along with AAA approved service and others too.Shouldn't you be so lucky!
You won't get a estimate in writing, they trick you in to verbal agreements. It's not uncommon to find your repair bill has exceeded a verbal estimate by hundreds or thousands of dollars, only to get a reply of "I thought you wanted it fixed". They do not accept checks, just cash-go figure!
Working for them is a nightmare,I wish I never heard of them. The treatment of there employee's awfull,in one year i have seen 20 people come and go.I can't wait to find a better job and put this ripoff place behind me.
Beware of all three Automotive Diagnostic Centers.(Marysville,MountVernon,Monroe)

When I was working for Automotive Diagnostic I was told by an employee (the one that reported these false accusations) that if he got fired he would make the company pay. I worked for Automotive Diagnostic Center for 2 years and found that it was a very honest and pleasant place to work, I had to leave the company due to my mother getting ill. I think the report off report is good for consumers who use it not abuse it.

I am sorry that you were mistreated by this company BUT I am glad to hear you admit that this company rips people off. I have allowed them the privledge of doing around $2,000 worth of work on my vehicle and I have reason to believe not one penny of work was actually done.
Also another trick they do is fix something and of course it's under "warranty" a very short time later the same thing breaks so you take it in to get it fixed for free because it's under warranty only to have them tell you it's not covered because it's actually something different.
