Avenue Social aka Facebooksters aka Social Jitney took over $5000 to develop an iphone app. They agreed to deliver the app in 8 weeks. After more than a year (54+ weeks) they failed to deliver the source code, and the app does not work. They refuse to respond to any communication whatsoever.
This is a company that lures customers with their website and make promises they cannot keep. They demand payment upfront before delivering anything in steps. They have no respect for deadlines and simply keeps saying this is how software development works. 8 weeks turned into 8 months and now over a year.
They appear to be a Pakistani based company that is fronting in the US and subsequently has ripped off many US customers. The current director is Hakim Sadik and is not based in the US. Salman Ghaznavi is the CEO based in CA.

After filing my original complaint against Avenue Social aka Facebooksters, Avenue Social agreed to complete my project within a specified time of about 2 weeks. That was the last I heard from them. At this point they have taken my money $5000-$8000 and have failed to keep their promise to finish the project. The project an iphone APP does not work, I have nothing to show for it. They are 100% scammers. They are based in Pakistan and operate locally in Sunnyvale Ca. They no longer respond to calls or email. In case you don't know. This is they mode of operation. Check the BBB and this site Ripoffreports.com and you will see my complaint is the same to as many others: They slowly bleed you for money while promising to build your project then once fully paid, the s**it hits the fan, and it becomes impossible to work with them. Eventually, they drop all communication and you are at a lost in every sense of the word. Since they compete for low end app (price wise), and are out-of-state, it is difficule to sue then in small claims (and they know it). Current laws do not allow to sue in my state. STAY AWAY FROM AVENUE SOCIAL. The leader is Hakim Sadik who is not available to talk to in the US as he is usually in Dubai. PLEASE FILE OTHER COMPLAINTS WITH THE Federal Trade Commission and your Senators asking for an investigation into this scam company.

Avenue Social has agreed to resume work on the iphone App named iKissable and to deliver the final completed app by 6/15/2013. This agreement has been reached with Leon Wulff who has also agreed to deliver the final source code on this date. I consider this case resolved once all items have been delivered as agreed. The current state of the complaint is Pending Resolution and will be updated to Resolved as agreed by 6/15/2013. Any delays beyond this date must be agreeable to all parties involved.
