I am writing this on behalf of a friend. The University of Phoenix has ripped her off, and ruined her educational opportunities for the future.

She has been attending for 27 weeks and thus far until now has maintained a 3.76 GPA. She is about half way through her degree but it has been halted and all hope has been lost because the University of Phoenix conveniently lost her final to a prerequisite course that she is required to pass in order to continue her education.

Either their is something seriously wrong with their software or they are just deliberately losing students' finals in order to make them pay for a class that they were already paid for through financial aid, loans and grants.

She posted her final for her survey of accounting class in the right forum, and made sure to double and triple check this before she submitted the assignment. Before midnight Arizona time zone she was required to have her assignment submitted aware of the consequences that she would fail this course and would not be able to finish her career with the University of Phoenix if she failed this crucial course. That is unless she pays cash for this course to repeat it. With this in mind it would be stupid to think that anyone would not double or triple check to make sure that the work was done properly and posted in the right forum and the right class. However, after verifying that everything had been posted properly the very next morning the final assignment had somehow moved itself to the wrong forum in the wrong class. I have known her for many years and she is an extremely level headed individual, and thinks clearly. She did not post her assignment in the wrong forum and in the wrong class.

The entire tracking system for these students assignments are completely flawed and/or just non-existent. This is proven by the fact that technical support told her she should have taken a screen shot as proof that she did in fact post everything correctly. You mean to tell me that this multi million dollar corporation of deceptive liars doesn't track what goes on on their websites?

Because of this she now is either required to come up with over 400 hundred dollars to pay to repeat a class that she is already binded into paying for to begin with, or else she can not continue her education. Although this is perfectly legal if one is just irresponsible and fails the class due to their own laziness, this is not legal if one did in fact turn in the assignment and posted it correctly.

Why doesn't the University of Phoenix keep records of what goes on in their online community? The answer is because they are purposely "misplacing" assignments so that students a) flunk out and have to pay back their private University loan right away, or b) so that the University and get paid double for one class.
