I originally signed up for online accounting classes in October 2006. Everything went well, but as I was takening my courses, I encountered the problems, where when I would call who ever at the office of the university, it take them days before answering back. Another problem is that I had a class where I had to do an essay, and I worked my butt off on that essay and submitted it. After I had already started on the other two classes, I was taken off the schedule because according to the instructor I had plagiarized everything, when I most certainly did not do that. I had to re-take the class all over again and apply for an private student loan for just that one class. I took the class again and passed it. Well the class that I was taking with this class at first, which I have all my grades printed, they put me in the system with a D+ and I ended with an A. I requested many times to get this fixed and updated, and I was given the run around. I got tired of it and very discouraged, to the point that I stop doing my online classes. Now they want to charge me for the two classes, and I am not going to pay for them. I went through a lot of trouble to just sign up for that one class that I had to re-take and I am not going to go through the same issue all over again.

As a current student of this university and also an ex-employee I have had a great experience with this college. There are tools that are available to you to prevent your Final from being seen as Plagiarism. You have the opportunity to be pro active in your final submission. There is a tool called the Plagiarism Checker that you can submit your paper to before you post it to your class. This would have prevented you having to take the class over. As far as the grade posting as a D- when you actually got an A, if one person can't fix it, try another. Quitting is why there are so many people out there without a degree. Anything worth having doesn't come easy.
