In 2013 the US Department of Education has received complaints from students at Baker College for discrimination, harrassment, unfair grading and inadequate staffing.

According to the U.S. Department of Education, if a person has experienced or witnessed discrimination, harassment, unfair grading, inadequate staffing, program changes or federal loan fraud at Baker College, that information is requested for a possible investigation.
