I called Bank of America to find out why I had not received a payoff statement for my mortgage which they were supposed to have mailed.  Since I had not received it and wanted to go ahead with the payoff, I requested that they FAX a copy to me.  They said they would for a charge of $30.  I refused, then was given the payoff info by phone.
