Bank of American BOA wants to foreclose on my home today. I gt a different story everytime I call. Claim I haven't paid in 7 months. Dallas, Texas

BOA is trying to foreclose on my home. I received 2 letters in March telling me they haven't received payments from Sept-Nov. 2009. I'd been working with Neighborhood Assist. Corp. of America to modify my loan. I've been making payments continuously thru March 2010 and have copies of all cashed checks. Their corporate office in Dallas gives me several different stories: they never received payment, checks were returned NSF, checks have been received but are "lost", etc. They are looking for $5000+ or they will foreclose.

I've been working with an assistant manager in Branford, CT and yesterday brought the check copies to the branch manager herself. All I've been trying to do is get a loan modification but am told I dont qualify until I pay the money (that I already have). Today they "miraculously" found the money but now say they never agreed to the forebearance from NACA and want me to show proof?! NACA assigns you a case number and all correspondence is through the website. I'm certain there is a paper trail with NACA, so much paperwork to get started.

I've handed this to CT Attorney General's office and an assistant attorney there contacted an BOA executive and requested to hold off foreclosure until case can be investigated and assign ONE person only at BOA to work on my case.
