Due to medical issues on may part and the company my hubby works for cutting hours instead of lay offs we began to get behind in payments. Began working with BOA in June for Making Homes affordable plan. The first call took me through 3 diffrent people and about 1.5 hours to get the info I needed. Did everything I was told to do.  Had to refile the MHA in July because Fedex didn't deliver our package to us at all. In the 6 months to that followed I made 24 calls to them to check the status. I was told on Oct 13 that we had been accepted into the MHA program. The intrest was dropping to 2% and the payment was dropping from 1241.00 a month to 812.72 a month, but he told me that we had been approved earlier and we had missed our first payment. I told him that was impossible because I had been calling every two weeks to check status and had not been told that before that day. He said that was ok to start making the payments beginning Nov 1 and not be late that the first three must had to be paid on time. I said no problem that we could afford that. Made the first payment and in late Nov. I schedualed the second payment to come out on Dec.1. On Nov 30 I received a package from BOA I thought to be the MHA plan.But was shocked to see that is was not. It was a in-house mod. that had only lowered the payment to 1092.00 a month, and that was due on Dec.14.They also added 6815.00 to the principal.

 I had the payment of 812.72 drafting the next day and didn't know what to do. There was no way to come up the that extra in 14 days. I called them to find out what had happened. I was told that the investor would not sign off on the MHA plan, and that was all they could do. when I ask about the draft for the MHA plan she told me that they were not suppose to take the payment and canceled it from being drafted.

By now it is Dec 11th, and I have no trust in them at all. So I began calling everyone I could, even the investor. I found out that the investor does not even sign the agreements until the 3 months trial payments have been made, so how could they have denied it. I called BOA back and was told by someone else that the MHA plan had been in effect since July, and that the payment had not been canceled. She said to make sure I snd the 1092.00 with the signed documents, I ask what was going on with the supposable canceled payment and was told it was in pending that I needed to send the diffrence in a money order or cashiers check. Then she called back to tell me that I had to send in the whole 1092.00 with the docments, I ask about the 812.72 that was pending, was it getting canceled or what. She said no, it was not. So what they plan to do is get me to send 1092.00 to them then draft my 812.72 and cause me to overdraft.

So please beware when dealing with them, they are crooks.....
