Bay Area Remodelers company lied about being B.B.B. members and lied about timing of project to get contract ripoff Clearwater Florida

Sales guy named Steve came to give sales pitch on sunroom. gave us a company fact sheet claiming to being members of the B.B.B. and chamber of commerce also claimed they use no subcontractors. Also said it would take 8 weeks to have sunroom installed if we signed contract now because the would be getting into a busy season.

This was in june 2006 today is sept 8 2006-still no sunroom. started investigating and found no B.B.B membership only 30 or more complaints where consumer dissatisfied. no information with the chamber either. I called the company to check on whats taking so long, they claimed permits. I found my permit online already picked up and paid for. Also on my permit is an electrical sub contractor.

Called company again, associates were very rude and not helpful, i advised of the deceptive sales practices and misrepresentation of the company and they had nothing else to say except I would have to speak with the owner. i told them i wanted out of the contract, i dont want the sunroom and the beter not step foot on my property until i do speak with the owner and an attorney. took on a 20,000 home improvement loan thank god @ thispoint no moneies have been paid yet. I just want out of the contract.

NEVER NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE BAD NEWS.
