Bay Furniture ripoff sold unstable entertaiment center, no handbook for weight limits Homewood Illinois

i bought an entertainment center from bay furniture. i only got to see a picture of it before i bought it. i was told it would be delivered in 8-10 weeks. it took 16 weeks to get. when we finally got it bay assembled it for me. i recieved it on a thur. i put my stereo and sat. reciever on the adjustable shelf above my big screen tv. the shelf came with 4 prongs to hold the shelf. 4 days later on sun night the shelf fell on top of my tv and damaged the wall it was against. i now have 16 dents in my wall. i was devasted that it had fell.

i called bays customer service line and was told that they would call me back. 5 hours later they called back to tell me the weight limit was 30lbs and that they would send someone out to look at the shelf and they might replace it. i said what about my eqipment and wall. the rep told me that i should of called them to ask what the weight limit was before i put anything on the shelf. i thought who would do that. well they arent going to do anything now and i am stuck with a dented up wall that i will have to fix and a broken entertainment center and damaged equipment. i will never buy there again and warn anyone who goes there dont expect any service they just want your money
