Bella Nova Model Management Susan Lipman Tried to SCAM me by ordering $200 worth of Avon and sending a $2000 check, then asking for WesternUnion wire transfer. Capitol Heights, Maryland

I received an email from "Susan Lipman" requesting a $200 AVON order.  It seemed sketchy from the beginning because I live in MA and she was from MD.  She said she would send a certified check or money order.  I received a check FEDEX the next day for $2300. Once I received this check I brought it to my bank.  They told me it was not certified.  I told them of the circumstances and that she wanted me to Western Union the money to her IMMEDIATELY.  They advised me to send the check back to her and request that she send the correct amount.

Thank god I was wise enough to figure this out! I would have wired her the funds and then been $-2000 in my bank b/c the check wasn't good!! I literally have only made $40 so far selling AVON. Pheww.
