Bid Fuel Charged my credit card after I told them no Internet Internet

BidFuel "free" information is not so free.

I sent off for the "free" ($1.95 S/H) EBay information. A few weeks later someone called my at my home and at that time I told him I was not interested in persuing it any further. I thought I was done with that company. The next time I got my credit card bill, there was a charge of $39.95 on my credit card from BidFuel. I called them to find out what the charge was for and was informed that it was for a MONTHLY fee from BidFuel.

I told the guy that I wanted it credited back to my charge card. He told me that I agreed to them monthly charges but would stop any further charges. I told him that I read the entire web page for anything like that but did not see anything like that on the site. I told him it must have been in some very tiny "friggin" print. He told me that it probably was. I told him that when someone from BidFuel called me I told that guy that I was not interested. Because I did tell that guy from BidFuel that I was not interested I believed that they should credit my credit card. He did not agree with me.

I have since then disputed the charge on my card but do not know what the ultimate outcome will be.

Be warned that telling them that you are not interested may not stop further charges from that company.
