I had the same experience with Bid Fuel. I was taking the offer of freee information, and was assured the cost to me would be $1.97. Then on 2/14 08, I was charged $39.95. I only noticed this today (3/5/09) when perusing my statements for tax purposes. I suppose a year late is really too late.
