I needed to update my computer BIOS and found BiosAgentPlus onlione, who claim they will help you out with the choice of the right BIOS update for your computer, and will provide the update to you through a link.
I pais $30, ran a software provided by the company to determine my motherboard info and current BIOS, and filled in a form to get a link to my BIOS update. That never happened. I called their support number and instead they wanted to charge me an extra $200 to "solve" other issues in my computer, never provided the update, and when I said I was being scammed and cut their connection to my computer which I had authorized, they mentioned that they were proper technitians and I didn't understand the issues. Next thing I knew they HANG UP.
THIS IS A RIPOFF, BE CAREFUL!!!

#1 UPDATE Employee
Customer is Incorrect, not a ripoff.

Mr. Izquierdo submitted a BIOS request and was sent a message indicating that his BIOS was up to date. He already had the most up to date BIOS available.
He is entitled to a refund if he so chooses, but he can also use the service to update the drivers and BIOS on up to 10 systems.
In regard to the phone number that he called, this is for help installing the program and gathering more BIOS information, if necessary. In some cases the customer is offered other services such as general computer support for their systems. Mr. Izquierdo simply needed to decline and say No Thank You. He also didn't need to allow access to his system.
We have NEVER denied a customer a refund if there was no BIOS available for their system. All he needs to do is ask. How can something be a ripoff if we give the customer their money back?
