I canceled my membership with Blockbuster Online 2 months ago. After not receiving some movies i ordered and not having time to watch them when i did receive them. I canceled my membership sending all movies back that i had.

October 1st (2 months after i have cancled my membership) i receive 3 emails about the last movies i had that they have now charged my account $21 for each movie that they say was NOT returned. thats over $60.00 they took out of my account WITHOUT my authorization since i canceled my membership 2 months ago, as well as send them their stupid dvds back 2 months ago after i cancled.

Blockbuster REFUSES to refund my money, stating IF they get the movies back then i will get a refund, but if they dont i will incur more fees. BULL!! They never had authorization to take money from my account. I sent them their movies, obviously its a problem with the mail or their own distribution center. I just keep getting the runaround from them. When i call i can never get a hold of a person or else they're closed.

BLOCKBUSTER ONLINE IS A FRAUD, A SCAM, and JUST OUT TO TAKE MONEY FROM PEOPLE.

does this mean we all need to read every fine print on every product we purchase? don't know about the rest of the world, but i sometimes don't read the surgeon general's warnings, let alone a long detailed list of legal protection for the company.

usually, i let lawyers read the fine print and they tell me in layman's terms what it's all about.

i never knew about that 30 day charge after cancelling. i'll make sure to note of it when i do cancell. i'll cancel on the subscription hike.

Hey read the terms and conditions. Right in there it states if movies are not returned with in 30 days of cancellation blockbuster does charge for them. So by accepting them it gives them the right to take the money. Jokes on you Lady!

call the credit card companies up and tell them that BB is doing

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

Does anything state online of what the procedure is?

Blockbuster are acting like thieves and I wonder when its going to stop. I would definitely call the credit card companies up and tell them that BB is doing this and getting away with it.

I've read a couple of complaints so you the consumer should do what you have to do.
