I purchased a TV lamp from Bluestar International Components in January 2011. I received my Tv lamp and installed it with no problems. The TV lamp lasted only 4 months before it exploded for no reason. The TV lamp was suppose to have a 12 month warranty but Bluestar International only gave me the run around. Johnathon Williams from Bluestar agreed to replace my TV lamp but never did. No matter what day or time I called Bluestar I never actually talked to anyone. I only got a recorded meassage stating they were busy. I could only reach them by email and even then it was just another excuse about where my replacement lamp was. Not only are Bluestar International products terrible they also come with a fake warranty. Don't make the same mistake I made and buy anything from Bluestar because if you do actually receive your product it will fail soon after and the only guarantee you will have is to be ripped off.

When you installed this lamp,
AUTHOR: Ken - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, October 30, 2011
did the instructions say it shouldn't be touched with bare hands?
Often this warning is included and if not followed, the lamp glass may fracture over time.
If this warning was there, did you follow it?
Not saying this is what happened but it IS possible.
