Calvary Portfolio Services dishonesty on my credit report, 16,328. to be exact, the loan was sold and never transferred out of my name, it is not my account but is still on my credit report Ripoff Phoenix Arizona
*Consumer Comment: Don't understand.
I tried several years back to have 16,328. removed from my credit report. The original loan was through Greentree. I have all the legal documentation to prove this loan was sold to some one else and is no longer mine. Has not been mine since 1999. Yet it is on my credit report.
My husband and I tried purchasing a home 2 years ago and could not do so because of this loan on my credit report. It was supposed to have been removed several years ago. I have tried twice to have this taken care of. This is my last ditch effort to try and settle this myself. I will hire attorney if this does not get removed.

Don't understand.

Is this like a vehicle loan in which you sold the vehicle and the buyer was to take over payments? If so, did they indeed make the payments? I always see ads for the buyer to take over payments but never knew if that could actually be done and if the loan could actually be transferred into another person's name. Not trying to bash your report, just trying to educate myself.
Thanks in advance for the reply.
