CALYPSO CAY STROKE VICTIM SCAMMED KISSIMMEE Florida

My dad, whom had just come out of hospital after suffering a stroke, recieved a call from a rep from Calypso Cay stating he had won a holiday to various destinations around the Carribean and Orlando for 2 weeks. He was very confused at the time of the call and unfortunately gave in all his card details over the phone to the rep.

We contacted Calypso Cay and was told a pack is on its way to my dad and to return it straight away with a letter of cancellation which we did.We were told that once they,Calypso Cay, recieve the pack back that a refund would be given 21 days after they recieve the pack back. They recieved the pack back by post with a tracking number on 10th November 2008.

By the end of November no refund was given so i telephoned back to customer services and was told a refund would be given by 29th December 2008. After numerous telephone calls to the USA we are still waiting for the refund of 503 GBP.

I am so glad i stopped my dads card with the bank as they wanted 3 more payments....
