Camera Giants Bait and Swich - Totally false advertising!!!! Internet

I had been looking for a Cannon Powershot SX10 IS camera online. I was happy to find one at Camera Giants through a price comparison website at a low cost. Their website seemed very legitimate and I placed the order. Later I received a suspicious e-mail telling me to call Brian at ext. 202 to confirm my order. I didnt need to call him however as he contacted me and told me the camera I ordered only used rechargeable batteries and that I would need to purchase a rechargeable battery pack at a very elevated cost. I told him that I was fairly certain that the camera could operate on regular AA batteries and was not interested in purchasing anything additional. "Brian" abruptly ended our conversation.

I quickly received an e-mail telling me that the camera was no longer available and that it would be at least 3-4 weeks before they could begin to process my order. I was very suspicious so I went online and did another comparison search. Sure enough Camera Giants came up again with the camera listed as available. I went back into the website (which also stated the camera was available) to check on the status of my order but when I clicked on the link to view specific details it cancelled my order.

I called the phone number to tell them of my concerns but was on hold about 20 minutes. When a man finally picked the phone up, I began with "I am trying to clear up a some worries before I report....The man cut off my sentence and told me "good luck with that" "Have a good day".

CAMERA GIANTS lures you in with unbelievable prices and then tries to sell you over inflated accessories.
Now I'm worried because they have my credit card information!

I just reported them to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!
