I was contacted one morning in June '02 by a rep from this misrable company, promising me a 'Master Card'. For a mailing and handeling fee of 19.95 debited to my checking account. They tried to sound like they were 'Capital One', having just waken up I was not using my best judgement.

I was told that a annual membership fee of 99.95 and one time processing fee would be charged to the 'Master Card' which wopuld have a 2,500 'credit limit'. I received a packet in the mail with a letter 'congradulating' me on now having a 'pay-as-you-go Master Card'.

I immediatly contacted them to cancel the 'credit card' but was meet by much resistence and a refusel to acknowledge my cancelation. Later that same day I got a notice from my they were overdrawing my account by trying to collect to debits of 99.95 and 59.95 which were to be applied to the 'Master Card', before I could resolve that mess (which cost me 25.00 an item), they tried for a third item as 'Premium Mega Card' for 54.90 (another 25.00).

The next item from 'Household Protection Pharmacy Card' for 69.00 was the latest to be returned (at a cost of 25.00). They have another company 'Hartford Auto Club' that I have contacted and they have aggred to not attempet to debit my account, but I don't trust them as far as I can throw them at this point.

I have contacted my bank; the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Affairs Division and the Florida State Attorney General, Office of Consumer Affairs.

I'll post again when I hear somthing from either one. I wating to get them to refund my 19.95 and hopfully my overdraft fees.
