Paid over $1,500 to Card Payment Solutions after my website did not launch due to financial issues. They would not agree to cancel teh contract and I was misled when I signed the contract that I could cancel at any time if I did not need the services.

There representative did allow me to suspend my charges in an agreement made via a call to CPS on 12/09/2004. They did suspend charges for a while and then began attempting to draft large withdrawls that caused multiple bank NSF fees. They finally withdrew $856 dollars from my acount and have provided no assistance except to say they went to a new system and thats why charges started drafting again and that they do allow customers to suspend charges!

Keep in mind that they have never had to spend any time or effort servicing my acocunt as I never wnet into business. They ignored my calls and never replied to letters, even certified letters they I can confirm they receive. The people in charge of resolving customer complaints are non responsive and unprofessional. In my opinion, Card Payment Solutions is all about sticking it to their customers.

I have filed a BBB report at the Santa Barbara BBB already. I gave them a chance to prevent that report and this report and their total neglect of this issue has brought this result.

Here is the conent of Certified Letter sent to CardPayment Solutions and was ignored. A follow up last chance email was sent on May 6, 2007 and was also ignored.

Letter as follows:

CardPayment Solutions (CPS) has ignored my previous letter dated March 19, 2007 sent via Certified Mail with my requested response date of March 31, 2007.

Since January 19 2007, I have attempted through several phone calls to CPS customer service channels and now my second letter to you to resolve this issue amicably but to no avail.

My March 19, 2007 letter to you clearly spells out the issues in sufficient detail for CPS to understand that your company is just taking advantage of a customer that no longer wants to be a customer. In fact, you know very well that despite thousands in fees and charges billed by CPS, I have never processed even one (1) transaction through your company.

Since your company continues to bill me for services after I have requested cancellation of service (March 19, 2007 letter), and in fact has sent my account to collection. I now have confirmation that your company is unable or unwilling to work fairly with customers in a civilized dispute resolution process.

So I have decided that I am not going to spend any more time or money with an Attorney to chase after a refund. My goals have changed and I am now going to do everything possible to warn as many consumers as possible to stay away from companies like yours.

I have found that your company has no less than 103 complaints registered at the Santa Barbara Better Business Bureau for the same and similar complaints. I also found customer complaints at a Rip Off Report website. I will also post my own post at the Rip Off report this week as well.

I also have drafted a letter (see below) that I will be sending out this week to a Senior Director I know with Paypal's Marketing group with my consent to post my testimonial on their website that will serve to warn other small business start-ups to be wary when dealing with any Credit Card Processing Companies. The message is that that Paypal is the best way when starting a new web based business.

I will also draft a different letter to your key competitors that CPS did not work with me to resolve issues to my satisfaction.

Lastly, I am going to report your company to the California Department of Consumer Affairs.

I am sorry it has come to this, but you are on notice that when you treat customers this poorly, there are consequences. Your company's inaction and neglect of this matter has invited these future consequences.
