27% intrest I don't think so.

This am I closed out two accounts after 25 years JC Penneys and after 15 years HH Gregg. GE Money Bank took it upon them selves to raise the intrest rates on these accounts to a stagering 26.99% intrest. Boy do they have it all wrong. If you hold an account with them, let the store you do business with know the displeasure you have with this Bank and it practices.

But if you like your money taken from you by all means let them have it!!!

POSTED: Thursday, November 19, 2009

Was driving home from work last night listening to a local radio guy. He explained how he had received letters, LAST WEEK from both capital one AND citibank explaining how both his credit cards were going from 9% to 23.9%. 24.9% is the max in TX. Instead of making the new credit card interest rate LOCK effective immediate, Congress gave the MF's 12 weeks to "fine tune" the process. The credit card companies told them it was gonna take that long to "work out" the bugs. Fine tune my butt. They're taking those 12 weeks to jack up the rates on everyone who owes them. They don't need any kind of justification to do so. What I did years ago with bad companies, was cut up my cards and send them back and tell the companies where they could insert the cards AND I was not be shopping at their stores EVER again. There are plenty of other stores out there. IF you think you're gonna jack me with a 26.99% interest rate, you have another thing coming. No really, how many people ARE dumb enough to pay that kind of interest?
