I have an account with Care Credit which I have paid regularly, every month. Each month they send me the statement and I send the payment back. The payment is due on the 2nd of each month. For the past several months, they have not sent the paperwork until the 9th of the month or later, making my payment late.
I have complained to them three different times, on a recorded line, and once in writing. They are doing this intentionally to get more money out of me.
I have tried to contact them about this by telephone and there is no option to speak to a real person about your account.
Unfair.

You are the one missing the point

Obviously, you are missing the point. I am trying to avoid late fees, not incur them. Why do you think I am trying to get them to send the statement sooner or change the monthly payment due date.
I don't appreciate your being so rude and flippant. Being a smart a*s does not make you smart. People have different ways of accomplishing the same task.

I know you guys read these reports and often respond to them. I am asking you, for the good of business, to respond to this one. You see, this person is just a bit different. He/she is NOT complaining about collections, he/she is very willingly supplying you with extra income because he/she wants to pay late! Several of us tried to explain how to make an on time payment but he/she wishes to cling to some ridiculous notion and WILLINGLY WILL PAY LATE FEES. So I ask you to thank he/she for the increased unearned income. We should always be appreciative of our clients and thank them for their business. It makes good business sense to do that. So go ahead! Its not everyday someone is willing to pay extra for no legitimate reason!

Yes, Smart Alec

Yes, Smart A. I need the coupon to pay the bill. It is my right and choice not to pay my bills on line. If they send the stupid thing, I can pay it on time. That's not too much to ask (and stop talking to me like I'm the idiot! Not so.

Again I ask

For the second time, I am asking what you are talking about. Your response makes no sense.
I pay my bills by mail and not on line. I have heard from too many sources that it is unwise to use a debit card online. If they send the payment coupon on time, I can pay it on time. That is all I ask. Should be very simple.

Now That Makes Sense!

You know when the payment is due...the second of each month. You also know if they don't get the payment on time you'll pay a late fee. So then...you deliberately run up late charges because they don't send you a stupid coupon??? Please tell us...does the elevator reach the top floor?

I need the coupon to send in with my check. I pay my bills by mail, not on line. If they mail it on time, I can pay it on time. I do not feel comfortable paying my bills on line.

Question...

Since you know when the payments are due, why not send the payment in time? Why wait for the statement which may be delayed by USPS? Care Credit probably has a website where you can make payments online, eliminating postage cost to you and the chance the payment will be late.
