In Later 2012 we received an offer from Caribbean Cruise Lines, likely as a result of us planning an airline trip via Orviz.

Since the offer appeared good because we'd never been on a cruise, we accepted and used a credit card to deposit the required nine-hundred-fifteen dollars.

The offer allowed us to plan the vacation within the next 18 months. We received confirmation on an undated preprinted form with a reservation number and a website using my name: XXX.IsOnVacation.com.

We planned for my birthday the next year... but I incurred a sever heart problem and after consulting with my wife we decided to cancel the transaction.

Contacting Caribbean Cruise Line we spoke with a female who was less than helpful, borderline sociable and she said that "THEY" would extent the cruise by another 12 months. We requested a refund so we could pay back the credit card company. The woman told us that no refunds were given.

For the record there is NOTHING in the letter nor other information that discloses this so-called POLICY.

Had we known THAT we would have declined their offer et al.

Nearly at the same time of my heart episode we incurred a major financial loss due to the sudden and unecpected failure of a company we had money invested in. This resulted in a loss of 750/month income, making the credit card payments even more critical.

Several attempts to convince Caribbean to refund fell on deaf ears.

On 7/22/2013 we sent a notarized complaint to the office ot the Attorney General's office of Florida.

We have received some information from the Attorney General's office that a case worker is looking into the matter, but to date have had no further information nor satisfaction.

OUR ADVICE to all potential resoindents to offers from Carbbean Cruise Line is to ascertain that they KNOW ALL THERE IS TO KNOW about what they will do and what they won't do.

Our experience has been a dismal disappointment in integrety, trustworthiness and validity of a major company operating in these United States of America, the land of the free and the home of the Brave!
